The Goldfields Oasis is always on the lookout for quality staff. From life guarding to umpiring, crèche and café jobs to gym supervision, there is a range of opportunities to earn some extra dollars and get a start in the sport and recreation industry, childcare or hospitality industries at the Oasis.

The Goldfields Oasis are always running professional development courses to ensure our staff are receiving the most up-to-date industry training to enhance the level of service we can provide our patrons.
 
Bronze Medallion
The Bronze Medallion training program will provide you with the skills and knowledge to react appropriately in a number of different aquatic emergency situations. The Bronze Medallion award is a personal achievement award that can recognise your capability to perform aquatic rescues in a safe and efficient manner.
The WA Police Department recognise the Bronze Medallion qualification as highly desirable for employment. Having gained this qualification individuals are now eligible to complete the Pool Lifeguard Award.

Pool Lifeguard
Earn top $$$ and have FUN
The current industry requirement for employment as a Pool Lifeguard in a public swimming pool is a Pool Lifeguard Award and a Senior First Aid certificate.
The Pool Lifeguard Award, conducted by Royal Life Saving, is recognised throughout Australia and in many countries around the world. This is an entry-level qualification that can lead to an exciting career in the aquatic recreation industry.

AUSTSWIM
Get paid to teach swimming!
A swimming and water safety instructor can be an enjoyable and rewarding career.
The AUSTSWIM course is a nationally recognised training program and includes a Resuscitation award which is required to work in the industry. Our training will enable you to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to teach swimming and water safety classes and obtain the AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety award.
