Major Projects
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has a strong pioneering and visionary history and we are continuing this tradition with our vision to become a sustainable regional city of the future.
Current projects underpinning this vision include solar power, use of treated effluent, broadband, an airport tourism fund, telecommunications and the development of a grass golf course.
Our goal is for people to make Kalgoorlie-Boulder home. These goals are being realised by investing in the installation of CCTV - ensuring our residents feel safe in their City; a new animal pound - continually improving the City’s facilities and amenities and the Lord Forrest Youth Facility, a world-class centre for our youth.
